Today and tomorrow is the “day of rail” in Germany – a perfect opportunity for me to say “Thank you!” to all the many people involved in keeping the wheels of our trains turning and to improve the system “railway” everyday a little bit. This is a very valuable contribution to the mobility in our country!

A solution for tracks only partly equipped with overhead lines: In Germany the first battery powered train is now operating with passengers. Batteries are being charged at those parts of the route, where an overhead line is installed.
